We stayed there for a couple days while some family was at a nearby resort and we’re completely blown away by the service, the breakfast, and the amenities. The rooms are quaint and beautiful, the owners really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and it was relaxing. Loved looking at their courtyard out front and having a cup of joe with some nice conversation in the morning.

We stayed for two nights over Labor day weekend to do mountain biking on a large network of trails in the Telemark area. Jan and Jerry were great to talk to, breakfast was amazing, hot tub was hot and super clean. Their location can’t be better, we biked right from the doorsteps. House is beautiful and very well taken care off. But, most importantly Jan and Jerry clearly love what they are doing! We will definitely be back to check the fall colors and x-country skiing.
We booked one night at Drumming Woods and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts, Jan & Jerry are very friendly and welcoming, the house and setting is stunning. It was a real treat to stay there. Think it would be even better in the snow!
Hosts are friendly and the home is very comfortable. The craftsmanship through out the house is beautiful. The location to the Namakagon River, Birkie Trail, and Cable can not be beat. Breakfast was delicious, wildlife abounds, and the hot tub is wonderful.
This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway to snowmobile! The trail was just outside of the property. Jerry and Jan were great hosts and not to mention she makes a GREAT breakfast! It’s great if you are just a couple or have a group! When we make our way to the Cable area again, Drumming Woods is where we will stay!
Some people say you get what you pay for. Then you have an experience where you get so much more. I have stayed in some expensive hotels and resorts and payed 3 times what i paid a night here, and they do not compare to the experience i have received here. Jan and Jerry are the absolute best hosts ever. You come in and they immediately treat you like you are part of the family Actually you could say they treat you better than family. The house is tucked away so its quiet and peaceful. The beds are super comfortable. Jan’s breakfast’s are awesome. Five Star restaurant quality. I wish I could have stayed longer. I have family in the cable area, and I would come back just to stay here again and not even see my family (just kidding). Thanks Jan and Jerry for making my stay the best stay possible
Shared a weekend with friends, daughter & baby in October everything was just great. Jan and Jerry were incredibly hospitable, eager to meet any need or request. Baby did great! Comfy & yummy food, great for hiking and outdoor recreational activities. Nice private downstairs area w/ full kitchen w/ breakfast bar and, TV lounging area, very accommodating.
A group stayed here for a wedding. Everything was perfect! Beautiful location, superb property, immaculate in every aspect. Jan and Jerry made sure everyone felt welcome. after one day we felt like we had made friends for life. It truly felt like staying with family.

Friendly caring owners went out of their way to make me feel “right at home”! The place was immaculate. Quiet peaceful surroundings. Beautiful location, easy access to building with carport and covered walkway. Perfect for rain or snow conditions. Would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone. The owners really enjoy their business and it shows.
I highly recommend this B & B to anyone! The hosts, Jan & Jerry, are WONDERFUL and accommodating. The house is beautiful inside and out. My friends and I enjoyed a quiet night in the hot tub (with tiki torches lit by our hosts) and a wonderful breakfast. We plan to return this winter to ski– we may even bring our families. Our children would enjoy how close it is to the bike and ski trails as well as the river. I am sure they would also enjoy Jan & Jerry’s well behaved (3) dogs as well! If you need a place to stay in the Cable area – book now and you will NOT regret
My son and I stayed there about a month ago and it was just excellent. Unlike many bed & breakfasts where you sort of disappear into your room, they encouraged conversation and had much to share. Very classy but the surroundings were beautiful woods. I’ll be back, soon I hope. Can’t say enough good things about this really unique spot.
My husband and I stayed at Drumming Woods three nights over Birkie weekend and LOVED every minute of it! The location to Telemark is so close, we skied to the start line! Jan & Jerry are so welcoming and gracious, and their home is beautifully detailed with Jerry’s woodworking craftsmanship. Each day we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, appetizers and dinner, which were delicious. They are very accommodating, so, if we couldn’t make it for lunch or dinner on certain days, it wasn’t a problem. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub was a welcome site after skiing each day. An added bonus for us was the dogs; we loved them, and wanted to sneak them back home with us! We will definitely stay with them again, and would recommend Drumming Woods to anyone, its top notch!
Absolutely Beautiful and spotlessly clean!! Jerry has an incredible talent with wood and their home is filled with many beautiful pieces of furniture he has made. Jan welcomed us with some really tasty appetizers and prepared a wonderful breakfast. We were extremely comfortable in their home and will definitely stay with them again in the future.

Drumming Woods B & B is in the perfect location if you like x-country skiing or mountain biking. You can ski or bike from the house to the Birke & Camba trails. Jan & Jerry are incredible hosts and the food she prepares is unbelievable. The place in immaculate & the location is perfect. Its a treat to stay & we can’t wait to go again next year!

Thank you so much for another wonderful weekend. The biking was uber muddy, white knuckled, survival racing but the conversation and atmosphere here was the perfect counterpoint. Relaxing, rejuvenating and joyful. We absolutely love this place!

This is a beautiful B&B in the North woods! Spotlessly clean. Wonderful hot tub on a full deck with a fire pit and Jerry always has wood ready for it. Jan usually greets you with an afternoon snack and serves a very tasty breakfast! I have stayed there so many times in this last year I can’t even count the times!

Jan and Jerry were wonderful hosts! We really enjoyed our conversations! Beautiful home! We could totally see why they have all 5 stars! We could not have been more happy, and we would absolutely stay again!
We stayed at Drumming Woods because we had a wedding in town to attend. When we arrived the home was clean and welcoming. We were greeted at the door and loved the house pups. They have a chicken coop. The home is gorgeous. With a wilderness, ski, Colorado theme throughout. Comfy beds, clean rooms, the bathrooms had everything you could need. Large common area space. Free WiFi. Great photo taking opportunities. The next morning we woke to smells of a delicious home made breakfast. The dining table was set and had perfectly plated individual quiches, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, banana bread, homemade jam and conversations. The owners are sweet, inviting and kind! We felt right at home. Thank you for the stay! I would recommend anyone to stay there if you want to have a great time. Can’t wait to come back.

Drumming Woods is a charming B&B tucked in the woods and is like a home away from home! Jan and Jerry are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Their home is beautiful and immaculate and their landscaping is gorgeous. Our room was comfy and the bed was so comfortable! The breakfasts were delicious- eggs from their chickens, wild blueberry pancakes… yum.. Would go back to visit in a heartbeat! Jan and Jerry were one of the most eco-friendly couple I have met. They are truly “green,” which is refreshing in this day and age.
We have stayed at Drumming Woods the past several years and continue to love our time spent at the beautiful home of Jan and Jerry. Such classy, humble and kind people. We spend our days skiing the world class Birkie trail and come back to enjoy cocktail hour and snacks with Jan and Jerry. This year we again enjoyed our pizza at The Rivers Eatery and the added bonus of hearing Molly And the Danger Band. Jan provides a wholesome breakfast consisting of fresh eggs and local or home grown produce. Cable is a beautiful area to explore the Northwoods! Thanks Jan and Jerry!!
